The Insurance Claim Process

With over 20 years experience in the home insurance industry, the team at Upstate Roofs walk with your through the claims process, making sure your are treated fairly by your insurance carrier.

Inspection and Assessment

The first step is a thorough roof inspection and damage assessment. All results are presented in a digital report complete with images and videos of the findings.

File Your Claim

When appropriate, and based on the results or the inspection, you will file a claim with your insurance company. You can do so confidently knowing you have the assessment report to support your claim.

Adjuster Meeting and Inspection

Your insurance company will schedule an adjuster to do an inspection, determine coverage, and create their repair estimate. We will meet with the adjuster during this time at your home if you choose.

Scope of Work and Agreement

Once you have your insurance estimate in hand, we analyze each line item and compare to the assessment report to make sure all repairs are identified and correctly compensated. In addition we compare the insurance line items to local codes and manufacturer specifications. We create your project scope of work and agreement for you to approve.

Your New Roof is Installed

Once you approve the scope of work from Upstate roofs, we schedule your project and install your new roof system. In most cases your new roof will have a significant upgrade in shingles, underlayment, and roof components. Plus, every project comes with a complete workmanship guarantee.
